Manual for psimpoll and pscomb

Menu

Menu M: data analyses

Menu Mj: recalculation
This option controls whether the reduced dataset used for analyses is recalculated as proportions of the sum of types included, or left in the same form as the original dataset. It would be normal to recalculate for zonation or principal component analyses, for example, but the approach of Walker & Wilson (1978) for independent splitting of each taxon was intended to work with pollen accumulation rate data. Recalculation would also render the statistical summary (menu Mg) useless;

This option toggles `on' and `off'.
