Manual for psimpoll and pscomb
Menu
Mc.1 enables you to choose how many
zones you want. If 0 is given,
the program prints summary results. For the splitting methods,
these are in terms of the decreasing variance with
successive numbers of zones, and allows a choice of which the
user wants. The program continues splitting until 10
splits have been made, and then offers a choice of selecting
one of those, or looking at the next 10. For CONISS,
summary results are in terms of the increase in
`dispersion' after combining two clusters. This should be large
for the division into two zones (actually the last agglomeration),
and decrease for more zones (earlier agglomerations). Again,
results are presented in batches of 10 `clusterings' with a
choice of using one, or continuing with the next batch.
