Menu M: data analyses

Menu Mc: zonation
Mc.2 enables choice from the five possible methods for making splits:
1 Binary splitting by sums-of-squares
2 Binary splitting by information content
3 Optimal splitting by sums-of-squares
4 Optimal splitting by information content
5 Constrained cluster analysis by sum-of-squares (CONISS)
6 Constrained cluster analysis by information content (CONIIC)
Enter method
I recommend Mc.2.4 (optimal splitting by information content) as first choice, but try them all. CONISS and CONIIC are faster, but note that they work by agglomeration rather than splitting. Comparison of results between CONISS/CONIIC and the splitting methods may give an indication of the robustness of results.
